Constant Wattage Cable - Parallel Constant Wattage

Parallel constant wattage heating cables can be used for pipe and equipment freeze protection and process temperature maintenance where high power output or high temperature exposure is required. This type offers an economical alternative to self-regulating heating cables, but requires more installation skill and a more advanced control and monitoring system.Constant wattage heating cables can provide process temperature maintenance up to 150°C and can Withstands exposure temperatures up to 205°C when powered on.

1. Product introduction of Parallel constant power

Parallel constant power heating cables can be used for pipeline and equipment antifreeze protection and process temperature maintenance that requires high power output or high temperature exposure. This type of self-regulating heating cable provides an economical alternative, but it needs more installation skills and more advanced control and monitoring. The constant wattage heating cable can maintain the process temperature as high as 150℃ and can withstand the exposure temperature as high as 205℃ when the power supply is connected.

3. Structure of Parallel constant power

HGW single-phase constant power heating cable is used for antifreeze and thermal insulation of various pipelines and instruments. Factory area 1, area 2 explosive gas atmosphere area and other applications.

4. Working criterion of Parallel constant power

Two parallel twisted copper wires are used as bus bars with insulation layer FEP, and then the Ni-Cr alloy is used as a hot wire to be wound with bus lines regularly, starting with parallel resistors, and finally covered with insulation sheath FEP. When the bus power supply is turned on, each parallel resistor begins to heat, thus forming a continuous heating cable.

6. Three-phase constant power heating cable

Three-phase constant power heating cable can use three-phase triangle power supply, which has the characteristics of single-phase constant power heating cable. It is especially suitable for heat tracing and preservation of long-distance and large-diameter pipelines. T3 area of explosive gas and other application mixtures in Zone 1 and Zone 2 of the factory.

7. Working criterion of Parallel constant power

Three parallel twisted copper wires are used as bus bars with insulation layer FEP, and then the Ni-Cr alloy is used as heating wire to be wound with the bus bars at regular intervals, and the resistance between the two parallel phases is repeatedly connected circularly (for example, AB-BC-CA-AB), and finally covered with insulation sheath FEP. When the bus power supply is connected to three phases, each parallel resistor starts to generate heat, thus forming a continuous heating cable.
