Some people ask that the self-limiting heating cable is a parallel heating cable, the voltage of the first and last sections should be equal, and the heating temperature of each section should be equal. How can there be a low heating temperature at the end? This should be analyzed from the principle of voltage difference and the principle of self-limiting temperature.
What is a voltage difference? When the current passes through the electric heating cable, there will be a voltage difference between its two ends. The function of the voltage is to help the current pass through the resistance smoothly and form a loop. The greater the resistance, the greater the change in voltage difference.
The self-limiting temperature heating cable itself has the characteristics of changing with the change of ambient temperature. The high ambient temperature will increase the resistance and reduce the passing current. The temperature at the tail end is low, which may be because the resistance becomes larger, the passing current becomes smaller, and the voltage difference between the head and tail ends becomes larger, which is also normal.
Another reason is that the length of the self-limiting temperature heating cable itself is exceeded during the installation process. Because the self-limiting temperature electric heating resistance will change with temperature, the higher the resistance at the end of the heating cable, the lower the temperature. In order to avoid this situation, a certain length of electric heating cable must be reserved during installation.
